Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a visionary Operations Training Curriculum Designer/Instructor Level 5 to shape the future of space missions. This role is 100% onsite at our Colorado Springs hub, embedding with customers and internal teams to deliver cutting-edge training for on-orbit operations.

You will design curricula, build automated scenarios, and drive certification exercises for mission success while collaborating with mission specialists, systems engineers, and clients from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 12 years of professional experience OR Master's with 10 years OR PhD with 8 years. Will consider extra 4+ years in lieu of degree.
• Active U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Experience in simulation/scenario development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain dynamic training products for mission operations.
• Build automated scenarios and certification exercises for customers and staff.
• Perform training needs analysis with Mission & Systems Leads to craft plans and evaluation tools.
• Align curricula with on-orbit checkout and mission procedures.
• Serve as primary training liaison to external partners.
• Ensure contract-compliant delivery across Software & Controls and Engineering divisions.
• Coordinate with Training Leads to meet timelines and quality standards.
