Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking an Operations & Training Deputy IPT – Level 4 to lead multiple teams in Colorado Springs, CO (onsite). The role requires TS/SCI clearance, spaceflight operations experience, and a strong track record of cross-team coordination on complex programs.

The position supports 9/80 schedules with every other Friday off, contingent on program needs, and offers salary in the range shown with potential bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of professional experience OR Master’s with 6 years OR PhD with 4 years. Will consider additional 4+ years in lieu of degree.
• Requires active U.S. Government Top-Secret (TS) security clearance and SCI (TS/SCI) at time of application, US citizenship required.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing multiple teams.
• Excellent communication skills; able to present technical concepts to engineers.
• Experience with geographically dispersed teams.
• Experience with Spacecraft Operations.

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple teams and ensuring goals align with IPT vision.
• Resolving blockers and personnel issues.
• Ensuring resources allocations are sufficient for tasking and identifying efficiency improvements.
• Setting and maintaining high team morale across the IPT.
• Working with customer representatives to address concerns and facilitate conversations on topics of interest.
• Oversee special projects and upgrade efforts for the teams.
• Formalize and enforce process structure and ensure work scope remains within SOW.
