Job summary

True Anomaly seeks talented engineers to join the Mission Architecture team, shaping the next generation of space control systems. You will build simulation tools, conduct mission analyses, and support system-level engineering decisions across the full program lifecycle.

Responsibilities include mission design, system integration, and rigorous modeling to inform architecture choices, with exposure to government stakeholders and external customers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in mission analysis, space operations, or orbital mechanics.
• Strong understanding of orbital mechanics, spacecraft dynamics, and autonomous space operations.
• Hands-on experience with mission analysis tools such as STK, FreeFlyer, GMAT, or similar software.
• Proficiency in simulation tools and programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, or C++.
• Experience with mission planning and real-time mission support.
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI or TS/SAP U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Mission Design & Requirements Analysis: apply analysis and modeling techniques to support engineering decisions in the absence of specific requirements.
• Build and use system modeling and analysis capabilities to inform system architecture decisions.
• Lead design, simulation, and analysis of rendezvous and proximity operations mission trajectories.
• Lead design, simulation, and analysis of constellation mission performance.
• Optimize spacecraft maneuvers for mission objectives considering fuel, timing, and risk.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for stakeholders.
