Qualifications

  • 8+ years in autonomous systems, robotics, AI/ML, or aerospace engineering.
  • 4+ years in people management leading teams of 4+ engineers.
  • Proven ability to lead through influence and deliver results
  • Strong foundation in autonomy, with credibility in OR/RL/planning

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical direction on multi-agent coordination and edge deployment for spacecraft operations.
  • Review and approve designs for optimization, planning, and distributed coordination.
  • Lead the team in design, implementation, and verification; ~35% time.
  • Define autonomy standards, validation, and explainability for high-stakes deployments.
  • Drive compute allocation, edge optimization, and real-time performance trade-offs.
  • Maintain credibility in OR, RL, and edge AI deployment
