Job summary

KBR MBSE Systems Engineer is sought to support an Intelligence Community Space customer in a highly technical role focused on modeling and simulation of space and ground segments within a Digital Engineering Environment.

The position requires understanding of government space architecture, resiliency mission fundamentals, and ability to develop and validate requirements, CONOPs, and architecture products while integrating simulation tools across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in the STEM field.
• 5+ years of experience in the space systems domain.
• Experience with satellite systems.
• Experience in modeling and simulation.
• Experience analyzing and summarizing data with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to generate and maintain technical documentation and reports.

Responsibilities

• Modeling and simulation of space systems, space, and ground segments
• Provide technical expertise in systems and engineering to support resilience enterprise mission operations activities, programs, systems, and processes
• Support modeling and simulation, including threat assessments/impacts, trades, and analyses
• Communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Participate in system design reviews and technical interchange meetings
• Interface with customers, directorate/office representatives, and across system engineering groups to drive resolution plans and strategies for complex technical challenges
