Job summary

KBR is seeking a Digital Engineering Technical Modeler on-site in Chantilly, VA. The role demands an expert in MBSE, DE, and SE, with an active TS/SCI clearance and polygraph.

You will lead modeling across space and intelligence domains, ensuring data and models are interconnected and accessible for strategic programs. Responsibilities include delivering foundational DE approaches, guiding MBSE methods, and maintaining SE processes per SOW.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field and 10+ years of experience.
• Deep understanding of systems engineering and expert in Digital Engineering (DE)/MBSE.
• IC Customer experience with ground and/or space-based systems.
• Knowledge of data science concepts (databases, ontology, UAF/SysML).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver foundational digital engineering approaches for DE/MBSE compliance.
• Provide technical guidance on MBSE methods to leadership.
• Develop enterprise digital engineering approaches; ensure accessible, interconnected models and data.
• Maintain current SE and MS&A processes per SOW requirements.
• Guide federated modeling across the enterprise with mission partners.
• Adhere to MBSE guidelines and demonstrate complex modeling to stakeholders.
