Job summary

KBR’s National Security Solutions team in the U.S. seeks a Systems Engineer to advance MBSE efforts, model development, and digital engineering across Space Force MUOS programs.

You will work on requirements traceability, CONOPS, verification planning, and integration in a collaboration-focused environment. Ideal candidates have MBSE proficiency (SysML/UML), Cameo experience, and a SECRET clearance, with 2+ years in digital systems design and integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field required.
• 2+ years’ experience in digital systems design and integration.
• Experience in systems architecture using Cameo Systems Modeler or similar tool.
• Proficiency in MBSE methodologies and tools (SysML, UML).
• Experience in managing webpages.
• Active SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

• Execute MBSE model development to support architecture development and digital engineering milestones.
• Apply MBSE tools to capture system functions, services, interfaces, requirements, and CONOPS for design support.
• Support requirements analysis and functional allocation to hardware, software, operators and components.
• Produce model views, including DoDAF products, for milestones and documentation.
• Generate SE documentation for requirements, ICDs, systems design, CONOPS, verification and test.
• Support analysis using MBSE models and tools (e.g., Cameo).
• Develop study plans for architecture development and trade studies.
• Collaborate with prime contractors, other teams, government civilians, and the U.S. Space Force.
