Job summary

Full Spectrum Operations, a Joint Venture between By Light and American Communications Solutions, Inc, is looking for an experienced Telecommunications Engineer to support Space Launch Delta 45 on the Eastern Western Operational Communication Services contract. This position is located at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida.

The incumbent will design installation plans, provide materials lists, and coordinate with internal and external customers.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology Management or technical discipline is required or 10 years’ experience.
Experience in network architectures and design.
Working knowledge Microsoft Office tools specifically, Excel, Word, Visio and Project.
Proactivity in identifying and addressing challenges with positive impact.

Responsibilities

The Network Engineer designs and plans network communications systems, including voice, video, and data communications.
Provides detailed Layer 1 solutions for copper and fiber, PA and Aural Warning, and A/V solutions.
Provides specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.
Performs requirements analysis, technical solutions, test criteria, integration plan, and installation solutions.
