Job summary

MANTECH in Cape Canaveral, FL seeks a Launch Vehicle Data Systems Engineer to support the US Space Force Systems Delta 80. You will apply LV systems engineering, system-of-systems integration, and data engineering to improve launch operations and data workflows.

The role involves leading engineering boards, risk assessments, residual analyses, and coordinating with contractors and government customers. A strong background in avionics hardware design and experience with agile software tools is

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or STEM.
10+ years systems engineering or related experience.
Experience with LV systems and avionics hardware design.
Ability to obtain Secret clearance (not required to start).

Responsibilities

Provide LV systems engineering expertise at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
Plan, coordinate, participate in Engineering Boards and risk assessments.
Perform requirements definition, design reviews, testing, and post-flight analyses.
Support launch contractor reviews, audits, site walkdowns, rehearsals, and anomaly resolution.
Collaborate with Aerospace, New Launch Contractors, site personnel, and suppliers.
