Northrop Grumman Space Sector seeks a Launch Systems Integration Systems Engineer – Level 3 in Redondo Beach, CA, to support launch vehicle integration and interface requirements coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

The role emphasizes development of interface control documents, verification activities, and metrics reporting while ensuring compliance with security clearances and program access needs. A strong team player with systems engineering knowledge is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5+ years of engineering experience OR Master’s degree with 3+ years OR PhD with 1+ year of engineering experience.
• Candidate must have active SCI access at time of application or the ability to obtain SCI access.
• Candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance (or equivalent) at time of application and prior to start date, with ability to obtain and maintain SCI access.

Responsibilities

• Developing and coordinating integrated analysis plans such as coupled load cycles and integrated thermal analyses.
• Performing integrated analyses with the launch services provider(s).
• Developing the mission interface control documents with the launch service provider(s), customer(s), and internal stakeholders.
• Developing and managing interface requirements documents to interface control documents and traceability matrices.
• Supporting verification of the mission interface control documents with the launch service provider(s).
• Developing and managing metrics and reporting on mission interface control documents and verification burndown; preparing inputs for launch readiness reviews.
