Job summary

Blue Origin on the Space Coast is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Planner to join the Manufacturing and Development TEAM. You will manage material flow, schedule release/receipt in the MRP system, coordinate with warehousing, quality, engineering and procurement, and help ensure on-time parts availability for space-flight programs.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in supply chain, scheduling or planning, experience with MRP, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years supply chain, logistics, scheduling, demand planning, or planning experience.
• Experience with Materials Requirement Planning (MRP).
• Experience working with a cross functional team.
• Excellent computer skills with MS Office; MES with MRP execution desired.
• Excellent written /verbal communications skills.
• Lean/Six Sigma awareness is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate planning and scheduling to meet customer requirements.
• Release/close shop orders in MRP system and reconcile parts.
• Provide status of work in progress and communicate constraints to schedule.
• Prepare work orders based on MRP, master production schedule, and inventory needs.
• Coordinate with warehouse, inspection, quality, operations, purchasing, engineering and logistics.
