Job summary

Anduril Industries in the United States seeks an Electronics Designer for space-bound imaging payloads. You will own the electronics architecture and drive design from concept through flight, including power, sensor, and interface electronics.

You’ll work in rapid design cycles, perform PCB layout, bring-up, and qualification, ensuring EMI/EMC compliance, DFM/DFA, and space-environment design. Collaboration with firmware, optics, mechanical, and program teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of electrical engineering experience spanning system-level architecture, electronics design, and hands-on test.

Responsibilities

• Own the electrical architecture for imaging payloads, define power, sensor, data, and interface electronics.
• Lead PCBAs design, layout, bring‑up, and qualification for EO/IR sensor systems.
• Translate sensor and system models into electrical requirements and push back on non-critical requirements.
• Drive rapid design-build-test cycles: prototype, bench-test, iterate, and converge on flight-ready designs.
• Design for space environment: radiation, thermal, vacuum, vibration, and launch loads; perform TVAC, vibe, EMI/EMC analyses.
