Job summary

Anduril Industries is hiring an Electronics Designer for space-bound imaging payloads. You will own the electronics architecture, define power, sensor, data interfaces, and drive critical tradeoffs to enable rapid orbit deployment.

You will lead the design, layout, bring-up, and qualification of PCBAs, work with firmware, optics, and mechanical teams, and mentor others while ensuring design-for-manufacturability and flight readiness.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of electrical engineering experience spanning system-level architecture, electronics design, and hands-on test.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Ownership of electronics architecture for complex systems and tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Own the electrical architecture for imaging payloads and drive tradeoffs (COTS vs. rad-hard).
• Lead PCB design, layout, bring-up, and qualification for EO/IR sensor systems.
• Translate models into electrical requirements and push back on non-critical requirements.
• Drive rapid design-build-test cycles and iterate with real hardware.
• Design for space environment and perform TVAC, vibration, EMI/EMC testing.
• Mentor engineers and lead design reviews for electronics scope.
