Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Electronics Designer to own the electronics architecture for space-bound imaging payloads and drive design from concept to flight. This system-level role requires defining power, sensor, and interface electronics, performing build-vs-buy tradeoffs, and hands-on layout and bring-up to flight readiness.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of electrical engineering experience spanning system-level architecture, electronics design, and hands-on test.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven ownership of electronics architecture for a complex electromechanical or sensor system, including tradeoff decisions.
• Experience delivering hardware on aggressive timelines and in rapid design cycles.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own the electrical architecture for imaging payloads and drive architectural tradeoffs (COTS vs. rad-hard) for rapid orbit.
• Lead the design, layout, bring-up, and qualification of PCBAs for EO/IR sensor systems.
• Translate sensor/system models into electrical requirements and challenge non-essential ones.
• Drive rapid build-test cycles and design-for-manufacturability from the start.
• Ensure space environment considerations are analyzed and tested (TVAC, vibration, EMI/EMC).
• Mentor engineers and collaborate across firmware, optics, mechanical, systems, and program teams.
