Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related discipline.
• 2+ years hands-on hardware testing experience with electromechanical systems.
• Proven ability to develop test stands and fixtures.
• Mechanical design experience using CAD tools.
• Experience developing and executing test plans for complex systems.
• Familiarity with motion control architectures and motor electronics.
• Experience with data acquisition systems and instrumentation.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work across functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Apply experience to mechanical component and subsystem test planning and execution.
• Identify test events, needs, and equipment for testing.
• Create and review Test Plans, Procedures, safety assessments, schematics.
• Design, procure, and install test support equipment; manage vendors.
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate cost, schedule, and technical risks.
• Troubleshoot issues during testing and participate in readiness reviews.
• Coordinate test crews and vehicle configurations for testing.
• Enforce safety policies during testing and archive data.
• Mentor and train other personnel.
