Job summary

Rocket Lab USA is seeking engineering interns in Maryland for a 12-week program on-site beginning early 2027. You will work with a mentor, contribute to real projects, and develop both technical and professional skills in a fast-paced team.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in engineering/physics/math with a 3.0+ GPA and at least one semester remaining, plus 3+ months of applied engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in an engineering, physics or math discipline with at least one semester remaining.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, laboratory, or project work).

Responsibilities

• Work closely with mentor and teammates to apply knowledge and grow technical and professional skills.
• Join a fast-paced group to apply engineering concepts to real challenges.
• Attend frequent 1:1 meetings with mentors to track progress and learning.
• Participate in tech talks and network with interns and staff at events.
