Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern for its Middle River, MD site. The role supports the Manufacturing Team in building stages for Neutron and gaining hands-on experience across advanced machinery and satellite components.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering/physics/math, with a GPA of 3.0+, and at least 3 months of applied engineering experience. On-site, full-time for a 12-week term starting Jan–Mar 2027.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in an engineering, physics or math discipline and have at least one semester of school remaining post internship
• GPA of 3.0 or above
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, laboratory, and personal/team project experience is applicable)

Responsibilities

• Work with your mentor and teammates to apply engineering concepts and grow technically and professionally
• Collaborate with a fast-paced group to solve real challenges in manufacturing Neutron stages
• Attend frequent 1:1s with mentors and supervisors to track progress and learning
• Engage in tech talks and networking events with interns and employees
