Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Palm Bay, FL is seeking a Specialist Manufacturing Engineer to support the manufacturing of space hardware and RF applications. You will lead manufacturing tasks, provide technical manufacturing expertise, and develop new methods to improve operations.

The role requires strong knowledge of circuit card assembly, Lean Six Sigma principles, and experience with production tooling. A TS/SCI with poly clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of relevant experience, or 8 years without a degree.
• Security clearance information indicates industry-standard access requirements.
• Experience with circuit card assembly design and fabrication is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Direct support on the production floor for manufacturing tasks.
• Develop and support new methods and processes to improve operations.
• Monitor defect trends and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Interface with design and manufacturing engineers to ensure producibility.
• Estimate manufacturing costs and determine tooling and process requirements.
