• Design, document, and improve manufacturing processes for repeatability, efficiency, safety, and quality.
• Provide daily production-floor support to resolve issues, reduce bottlenecks, and maintain flow.
• Specify, design, procure, and validate tools, fixtures, and equipment.
• Create and maintain work instructions, routings, and process documentation.
• Lead continuous-improvement initiatives, including waste reduction and cycle-time improvements.
• Collaborate with Quality to ensure processes meet specs and standards.
• Analyze production data, yields, and defect trends to drive corrective actions.
• Support new product introduction by developing build plans and assessing manufacturability.
• Maintain configuration control with correct part numbers, BOMs, and revisions.
• Work cross-functionally with design engineering, planning, supply chain, quality, and operations.
• Assess tasks for safety risks and implement ergonomic improvements.
• Train operators and technicians on processes and best practices.
