Job summary

EVONA in Denver, Colorado seeks a Senior Automation Engineer to help establish a new US manufacturing and test capability for advanced space hardware. You will develop production processes, design tooling and test equipment, and support assembly, integration and testing of solar array hardware.

The role requires 5+ years in automation and related fields, with hands-on engineering skills, CAD (SolidWorks) proficiency and a degree in engineering.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in automation, manufacturing, integration, testing or complex hardware development.
• Hands-on engineering and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with tooling, test equipment and process development.
• CAD proficiency, SolidWorks, and knowledge of GD&T.
• A relevant engineering degree.

Responsibilities

• Commission a new facility and production line.
• Improve manufacturing and test processes with automation.
• Design and build fixtures, tooling and test rigs.
• Assemble, integrate and test mechanical and electromechanical hardware.
• Troubleshoot problems and deliver engineering improvements.
