Job summary

E-Space seeks a mid-level Materials & Process Engineer in Saratoga, CA to design and implement manufacturing processes for advanced polymer and composite parts. You will develop tooling, fixtures, and high-throughput equipment to enable scalable production of complex components.

You will bring hands-on fabrication skills, SolidWorks proficiency, and a strong background in scalable processes and GD&T application to drive reliable, high-volume manufacturing solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field.
• 3-6 years' experience solving complex part manufacturing challenges with scalable processes.
• Expert-level SolidWorks skills including advanced modeling, drawings, and GD&T.
• Experience with advanced materials and high-volume forming processes such as thermosets, thermoplastics, elastomers.
• Hands-on fabrication skills: machining, welding, assembly, and creative problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Engineer solutions for producing parts with complex geometries, tight tolerances, and demanding specifications.
• Develop equipment, fixtures, and tooling for high-volume polymer and composite parts.
• Create SolidWorks models and drawings with GD&T for tooling and equipment designed for high-volume processes.
• Prototype rapidly until parts meet specifications and processes are ready for scale-up.
• Collaborate with part designers, manufacturing teams, and production engineers.
