E-Space in Saratoga, CA is seeking a mid-level Materials & Process Engineer to design and implement manufacturing for complex polymer and composite parts. You will create tooling, fixtures and high-throughput processes to achieve scalable production and low defects.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 years of experience with advanced materials, SolidWorks proficiency and strong GD&T discipline, plus hands-on fabrication skills. Location is on-site in Saratoga, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Materials Engineering or related technical field.
• 3-6 years' experience solving complex part manufacturing challenges with scalable processes.
• Expert SolidWorks skills with advanced modeling, drawings, and GD&T.
• Experience with advanced materials and high-volume forming (thermosets, thermoplastics, elastomers).
• Hands-on fabrication: machining, welding, assembly, and problem-solving.

Responsabilités

• Engineer solutions for producing parts with complex geometries, tight tolerances and demanding specs.
• Solve process design challenges for parts with undercuts, variable wall thickness, multi-material construction and precision features.
• Develop approaches for parts considered unmanufacturable, focusing on volume production.
• Work with polymer and composite materials to create high-performance components for large-scale manufacturing.
• Build equipment, form tooling, fixtures, and processing systems for high-volume production.
• Create SolidWorks models and GD&T drawings for tooling and equipment.
• Prototype rapidly until parts meet specs and processes are scalable.
