Job summary

Vast is seeking a Manufacturing Planner, Integration to support the build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations. This full-time, exempt role is based in Long Beach, CA, reporting to the Director, Production.

You will develop schedules, forecasts, and capacity analyses while coordinating with procurement, engineering, and QA to ensure on-time delivery for space hardware. Responsibilities include material planning, bottleneck analysis, inventory monitoring, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years experience in manufacturing planning, scheduling, or operations management.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
• Familiarity with ERP and MES systems and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules, demand forecasts, resource availability, and capacity analysis.
• Coordinate with procurement and supply chain to ensure timely materials availability.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to maintain on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, and logistics to align on plans and resolve issues.
