Vast Space LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Planner, Structures Manufacturing, to support design and build of artificial‑gravity human‑rated space stations from its Long Beach, CA facilities. This exempt, full-time role reports to the Production Manager, Structures Manufacturing, and focuses on scheduling, capacity, and materials planning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience in manufacturing planning, scheduling, or operations management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules, demand forecasts, resource availability, and capacity analysis.
• Coordinate with procurement and supply chain to ensure timely materials availability.
• Analyze internal capacity and identify bottlenecks or constraints.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Implement strategies to minimize excess inventory while ensuring production continuity.
• Communicate with engineering and leadership on manufacturing deadlines.
