Job summary

Vast, based in Long Beach, CA, is seeking a Manufacturing Planner, Structures Manufacturing, to support the design and build of artificial‑gravity space stations. This full-time exempt role reports to the Production Manager, Structures Manufacturing, and is based in our Long Beach location.

You will develop production schedules, coordinate with procurement, monitor capacity and inventory, and drive continuous improvement across cross‑functional teams including engineering and logistics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules, demand forecasts, capacity analysis.
• Coordinate with procurement and supply chain for materials.
• Identify bottlenecks and optimize capacity.
• Monitor inventory of materials, WIP, finished goods.
• Ensure on-time delivery by taking corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and logistics.
