Job summary

Vast is seeking a Manufacturing Planner to support the design and build of artificial-gravity space stations at its Long Beach site. You will develop production schedules, coordinate with procurement, and monitor inventory to ensure on-time delivery for Haven Station programs.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2+ years in manufacturing planning, scheduling, or operations management, with familiarity with ERP and MES systems.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are crucial for success in this role.
• Experience with database query and visualization tools like SQL and Tableau is preferred.
• Familiarity with Quality Management in aerospace manufacturing and ERP/MES systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules, demand forecasts, resource availability, and capacity analysis.
• Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components for manufacturing.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods; identify bottlenecks and take corrective actions.
