Job summary

Star Catcher is seeking an energetic IT Support Technician to back our rapidly growing team in Jacksonville, FL. You will be the primary technical contact for employees, handling hardware, software, and peripheral issues to keep engineering teams productive.

The role covers onboarding, identity management, asset inventory, and lab‑environment support, with emphasis on cybersecurity, export controls, and rapid incident response in a high‑tech setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or vocational IT certification or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Experience in IT helpdesk or desktop support in fast-paced hardware environments.
• Strong troubleshooting of Windows, macOS, Linux; MS 365 and Google Workspace.
• Familiarity with AD, Entra ID and enterprise SSO tools.
• Hands‑on hardware, peripherals, and lab equipment experience.
• U.S. Person required due to ITAR/EAR export control compliance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for technical requests and resolve helpdesk tickets.
• Provision, configure, deploy, and maintain desktop hardware and lab peripherals.
• Troubleshoot OS and applications, printers, and conference room equipment.
• Onboard/offboard users, manage accounts, licenses, and access controls.
• Support endpoint management and security patching across devices.
