Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced engineer to lead the design and development of space-rated avionics systems based in Seattle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering with over 5 years of experience in avionics design, as well as hands-on capabilities to support various phases of product development.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in electrical/avionics design.
  • Experience with high-voltage switching and high-power regulation.
  • Knowledge of signal integrity, grounding, and board layout principles.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver space-rated avionics sub-systems including design and testing.
  • Develop high- and low-voltage avionics designs for motor control.
  • Communicate development status and risks to management.
