USfalcon, Inc. is seeking a Director of Business Development (Space Force) to drive growth with USSF, USSPACECOM, DoD, and related agencies from Colorado Springs, CO. The role emphasizes customer intimacy, capture leadership, and proposal excellence to win strategic opportunities.

The candidate will build a strong opportunity pipeline, lead cross-functional teams, and deliver compelling messaging and win strategies for Space Force programs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in DoD, government, or defense growth functions.
• Experience pursuing USSF/USSPACECOM or national security space customers.
• Strong knowledge of the Colorado Springs defense/space market.
• Understanding of Federal acquisition lifecycle and competitive Government contracting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Space Force growth strategy across USSF, USSPACECOM, DoD, and related customers.
• Identify, qualify, and advance new opportunities aligning with capabilities and growth objectives.
• Build and manage a robust opportunity pipeline with data, timelines, and assessments.
• Develop strategic customer relationships to strengthen engagement for future opportunities.
• Lead capture activities, plan responses, and coordinate proposals and win themes.
• Serve as Capture Manager from qualification to award and bid/no-bid decisions.
• Support RFIs, draft responses, and market research efforts to position capabilities.
