Job summary

mbsolutionsinc is seeking an Electronics Design Engineer for Space Exploration Electronic Systems. You will lead electronics design from concept to deployment, develop test stands and verification procedures, and collaborate across mechanical, software, and test teams on NASA hardware projects.

The role requires extensive PCB design, FPGA/VHDL work, embedded systems, and LabVIEW development for data acquisition. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; master’s may be preferred.
• 10–15 years of related experience and leadership of a design team.
• Experience with analog/digital PCB design, circuit schematic capture, and PCB layout.
• Familiarity with Altium Designer and SVN for design control.
• LabVIEW development and NI data acquisition systems experience.
• FPGA/VHDL design experience for space applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead electronics design from concept through deployment and test.
• Develop test stands, lab instrumentation, and verification procedures.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and test teams in NASA hardware projects.
• Design and verify PCB schematics and layouts; work with eCAD teams.
• Develop LabVIEW code for test systems and data acquisition.
• Support and troubleshoot existing test systems and components.
