Job summary

Trident Systems Space Electronic Systems division seeks an Electrical Engineering – Technical Fellow to lead architecture and development of high-performance space computer and embedded hardware for defense applications. You will serve as the division's senior technical authority, guiding design through requirements, test, and on-orbit support.

You will mentor engineers, lead PDR/CDR/TRR milestones, shape the technology roadmap, and coordinate with customers, program leadership, and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
• 15+ years of space/air hardware design with final design authority.
• Experience with high-speed SerDes (>10 Gbps), HDI PCBs, and radiation mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship for engineers, including Principal staff.
• Architect and lead space computer hardware development from requirements to test and delivery.
• Set architecture for high-performance space computers balancing SWaP, memory, and reliability.
• Lead design reviews (PDR, CDR, TRR) and coordinate with customers and leadership.
• Drive technology roadmap and support business development through proposals.
