Zusammenfassung

Trident Systems, Space Electronic Systems division, seeks an Electrical Engineering – Technical Fellow in Fairfax, VA to architect and guide high‑performance space computer hardware for DoD and IC programs.

The Senior Fellow will own the technical direction, mentor engineers, and oversee end-to-end design from requirements through test and on-orbit support, with emphasis on power, radiation mitigation, and high-speed signaling.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related technical degree.
• 15+ years with a Bachelor’s degree OR 13+ years with a Master’s degree OR 10+ years with a doctorate, including at least 8 years designing space or aerospace electronics.
• Experience with mixed-signal PCA development and high-speed SerDes (>10 GHz).
• FPGA and microprocessor development; Verilog/VHDL experience.
• Experience with PCIe, VME, or VPX standards; hardware design reviews.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship for discipline engineers.
• Architect and lead space computer hardware development process; ensure radiation mitigation.
• Set architecture balancing performance, memory, power, and reliability for space computers.
• Lead design reviews (PDR, CDR, TRR) and sign-off complex designs.
• Guide power systems design, grounding, EMI/EMC practices, and testing.
