Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Electronics Engineer (or Electronics Engineer) for the Space sector in Dulles, VA. The role involves designing and testing a range of electronic systems, with opportunities to work on radar and communications equipment and to collaborate across engineering teams.

The position requires a Bachelor's or Master's in a STEM field, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance (including a polygraph).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related STEM field.
• Willing to travel domestically and obtain DoD clearance including a polygraph.
• Experience with Python, C++, Matlab, or LabVIEW programming.

Responsibilities

• Researches, designs, develops, and tests electronic equipment and systems, including radar and radiation detection equipment; radio, television and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment.
• Work with engineers, test personnel, technicians, program managers, Government leads, and cross‑functional technical teams.
• Perform hands‑on work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible with shifts when needed.
