Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks an Electronics Engineer to support a phase array sensor system, starting with 1 year of in-house training in Baltimore, then a two-year assignment in Palmdale, CA. You will join an MS team and work with sophisticated equipment to ensure system readiness and mission support.

Basic Qualifications include a STEM degree and 2 years of relevant experience; willingness to travel up to 10% and to work rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline and a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with airborne AESA radar/communications systems or similar engineering background.
• Willingness to rotate shifts including weekends; travel up to 10% (CONUS/OCONUS).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance with installation and test support of a phase array sensor system.
• Conduct post-installation and pre-mission system tests; report results.
• Troubleshoot electrical/electronic/test software; propose corrective actions.
• Support field sites and customer meetings; travel as needed.
