Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Electronics Designer to own the electronics architecture for space-bound imaging payloads, guiding design from concept through flight and balancing COTS vs rad-hard tradeoffs.

You will lead board bring-up, layout, and qualification, work with cross-functional teams, and ensure manufacturability and testability in rapid development cycles.Eligible for U.S. Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of electrical engineering experience including system-level architecture and hands-on design.
• A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ownership of electronics architecture for a complex electromechanical or sensor system.

Responsibilities

• Own the electrical architecture for imaging payloads and drive architectural tradeoffs for rapid orbit readiness.
• Lead PCB design, layout, bring-up, and qualification for EO/IR sensor systems.
• Translate performance models into electrical requirements and prune non-critical paths.
• Drive rapid design-build-test cycles from prototype to flight-ready hardware.
• Design for space environment: radiation, thermal extremes, vacuum, vibration, launch loads; perform TVAC and EMI/EMC testing.
