Job summary

Ursa Major is seeking a National Security Space Business Development professional focused on growing U.S. Government business for space propulsion and systems.

You will build relationships across key government organizations including Space Force and other defense agencies, drive capture strategies, and coordinate across engineering, programs, and commercial teams to win opportunities. You will represent the company at events, manage CRM-driven opportunity tracking, and collaborate with multiple

Qualifications

• Strong communication and presentation skills for executive and government audiences.
• Experience with CRM tools, business development processes, customer qualification, and capture management.
• Ability to travel 25–50%.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships across Space Force, the Intelligence Community, Space Systems Command, Space Development Agency, AFRL, DLA, DoD and prime contractors.
• Lead capture strategy, contribute to proposal writing and customer messaging.
• Represent the company at government and industry events and meetings.
• Maintain CRM discipline and ensure accurate opportunity status.
• Collaborate with engineering, finance, legal, contracts, and program management to shape solutions.
