Job summary

LV8D Solutions is seeking a Communications Systems Engineer to provide onsite systems engineering and SETA support for government satellite programs. The role focuses on space communications, network, and crypto acquisitions with oversight across multiple programs.

The position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with poly, extensive RMF and security policy experience, and willingness to travel up to 25% domestically.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of experience, or Masters with 7+ years, or PhD/JD with 4+ years.
• Experience with RMF and information security standards.
• Understanding of space communication, network, and crypto systems.

Responsibilities

• Support SPO in acquisition planning, execution, and oversight of comms, network, and crypto acquisitions.
• Build and run testing frameworks and security assessments; address red/blue findings.
• Develop briefs for government and industry and coordinate with COTRs and SMEs.
• Review CDRLs for content and accuracy; participate in program reviews and tech interchange.
• Travel up to 25% domestically.
