Job summary

LV8D Solutions LLC is seeking a Satellite Requirements Systems Engineer to support the Electro-Optical System Program Office (ESPO). The role requires strong systems engineering in requirements management, traceability, and verification, with extensive MBSE and DOORS experience.

The candidate must hold an active TS/SCI clearance with poly and be able to work on-site, in a fast-paced, collaborative environment across government and contractor teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Aerospace/Mechanical/Systems Engineering or related field; 9+ years experience
• 7+ years on satellite programs; requirements development and allocation
• Familiar with electro-optical system functionality and performance
• Proficient with DOORS, MS Office, and Confluence; MBSE tools

Responsibilities

• Support ESPO in design, development, manufacturing, integration, test, and launch of Electro-Optical satellites.
• Provide verification evidence for enterprise requirements.
• Lead requirements development, traceability, and verification planning/execution.
• Evaluate designs for compliance with program requirements.
• Assist with acquisition planning and government source selections.
• Develop MBSE artifacts (CONOPS, ICDs, Test Plans, Functional Decompositions).
