Job summary

LV8D Solutions is seeking a Communications Systems Engineer to act as an Offensive Security Engineer, providing onsite systems engineering and SETA services for government satellite programs in Chantilly, VA. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with poly, a proactive, communicative leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• Experience with RMF and government security standards.
• Understanding of space communication, network and crypto systems.
• Experience working with government customers and program offices.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Support acquisition planning, execution, monitoring, and oversight of comms, network and crypto acquisitions.
• Build, automate, and execute testing frameworks; address red/blue team findings.
• Develop briefings and documentation; brief Government and industry as required.
• Coordinate with COTRs, SMEs and stakeholders to maintain contract docs.
• Review CDRL deliverables for content, accuracy and sufficiency.
• Participate in reviews and technical interchange meetings; travel as needed.
