Job summary

MITRE in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Project Leader to guide a large, multi-mission Space Combat Power and Advanced Space Capabilities program. You will engage sponsors, shape a cross-domain work program, and drive mission engineering, system-of-systems integration, modeling and simulation, and rapid capability development to enhance combat power.

You will lead a geographically dispersed team, mentor leaders, and manage execution while building trusted relationships with senior government

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field; 12+ years with BS, or 10+ with MS, or 7 with PhD.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in complex environments.
• Proven ability to build trusted-advisor relationships with government sponsors.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical direction, execution, staffing, and sponsor engagement for a large, multi-mission program.
• Shape work across orbital warfare, electronic warfare, cyber operations, and space defense.
• Cohere priorities and transition plans as portfolios evolve.
• Partner with leadership to align work with MITRE strategy and sponsor outcomes.
• Lead mission engineering, system-of-systems integration, modeling and simulation, and operational analysis.
• Build trusted sponsor relationships via regular engagement and technical interchange.
