Job summary

McCallie Associates, Inc., a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC, is seeking a Senior Program/Operations Manager to lead contractor support for Space Force missile warning programs at Los Angeles AFB, El Segundo, CA. You will direct a multi-disciplinary team across engineering, operations, cybersecurity, and acquisition support, ensuring performance, cost, and schedule success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration, Program Management, or a closely related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience managing or leading DoD or IC space, missile, or sensor system programs
• At least 5 years in a contractor program management, deputy PM, IPT lead, mission area manager, or equivalent senior leadership role
• Direct programmatic, engineering, or operational experience with missile warning satellite systems or related capabilities
• Experience managing teams of 20+ technical personnel under firm-fixed-price or cost-reimbursable contracts
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes and Space Force/PPBE/POM cycles
• Strong written and verbal communication including briefing high-level officials

Responsibilities

• Lead contractor team supporting Space Force missile warning mission area; integrate across multiple programs
• Serve as senior contractor point of contact for Government leadership and COR
• Manage workforce assignments, surge coverage, leave, and substitutions
• Lead government program reviews, IPT sessions, and working groups
• Provide input to Space Force budgeting cycles and POM exercises
• Optimize cross-program resource use for cost, schedule, and performance
• Forecast and control task order costs including travel and labor
• Oversee monthly status reports, trip reports, and corrective actions
• Manage subcontractor relationships and ensure no conflicts of interest
• Ensure required clearances and CAC access are maintained
• Lead transition onboarding and weekly reviews during initial period
