Job summary

The U.S. Space & Rocket Center is seeking a part-time guest services and education assistant to provide prompt, courteous service to guests, trainees and employees.

You will help present tours, operate simulators, and support educational programming that reflects the museum's mission and vision. Responsibilities include conducting presentations, leading field trips, safety checks, and maintaining a safe, engaging environment for all visitors.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent verbal communication skills and interact courteously with the public
• Willing to cross-train across multiple museum areas

Responsibilities

• Conduct tours and demonstrations in a professional and timely manner
• Lead field trips and manage assigned schedules
• Perform safety checks and report any issues with artifacts or simulators
• Operate museum simulators and educational exhibits
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment for guests and staff
• Provide prompt, courteous service to guests, trainees, and employees
