Space Camp in Huntsville, AL is seeking a part-time Guest Services Associate to provide prompt, courteous and professional service to guests, trainees, and employees, reflecting the Mission, Vision, and Spirit of the USSRC. This position reports to the Museum Operations Manager and collaborates with the guest services, simulator, and Planetarium Concessions teams to organize, plan, and execute the mission for the U.S.

Space & Rocket Center.

Competenze

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience: some public-facing work; cash handling experience preferred (3–6 months).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; energetic, organized and responsible.

Mansioni

• Process admission accommodations accurately and promptly.
• Maintain accuracy and security of cash transactions.
• Fulfill membership orders promptly and accurately.
• Open/close the ticket desk according to hours and keep it tidy.
• Maintain kennels, strollers, and wheelchairs in proper working condition.
• Respond to guest questions and complaints in person or by phone.
• Operate planetarium concessions following procedures and health regulations.
• Ensure safety and quality of museum simulators and experiences.
