Job summary

Vast, headquartered in Long Beach, CA, is hiring a Business Development Analyst II to support its Satellite Business Development & Commercialization team. You will analyze customers, coordinate large proposals, and drive revenue growth through market insights and compelling, customer-ready content.

Reporting to the Senior VP, you will own sections of proposals, conduct research on prospects, leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, and collaborate with Marketing, Engineering, and Communications

Qualifications

2–4+ years in business development or related commercial field.
Ability to translate technical/market information into client-ready materials.
Experience with CRM and sales operations processes.
Comfort using AI tools to support research and content development.

Responsibilities

Coordinate large, complex proposals with cross-functional inputs.
Own proposal sections and analyses end-to-end.
Research customers and market positioning for satellites.
Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis and development.
Maintain CRM hygiene and pipeline reporting.
Represent Vast in customer-facing settings.
Prepare briefing materials with Marketing and Engineering.
Track industry and competitive developments relevant to Vast's Satellite business.
Maintain customer databases and account status.
Support BD team across the pipeline with a hands-on approach.
