Job summary

Marotta Controls, Inc. is seeking a Space Production Technician in Montville, NJ. You will assist in assembly, calibration, and testing of rocket solenoid valves, supporting mission-critical functions such as attitude control and engine ignition.

Work at a state-of-the-art facility with a cross-functional team, undergoing Space Technician Training and growing within the operations organization toward defined career paths.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/trade school preferred.
• 1+ years aerospace/mechanical/automotive experience beneficial but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate assembly tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, hand tools).
• Assemble products per procedures or schematics; perform visual inspections.
• Set up and operate test equipment; conduct functional testing of valve products and record results.
• Troubleshoot and rework products; communicate issues to team lead.
• Maintain tools and notify supervisor of needed repairs.
