CesiumAstro in El Segundo, CA is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to own the full software lifecycle for space and airborne platforms. You will design, implement, test, and support software that interfaces with hardware engineers to optimize system performance.

The ideal candidate has a BS or MS in CS or Engineering with 5+ years in embedded development, strong C/C++, RTOS expertise, and experience with aerospace applications and hardware troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS or MS in CS or Engineering with at least 5 years of industry experience in embedded software development.
• Proficient in C/C++, RTOS, and aerospace applications and hardware troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the full software development lifecycle of embedded systems for space and airborne platforms, from concept and design to production and in-orbit support.
• Collaborates with hardware engineers to optimize system performance and reliability.
