The hotel’s two luxurious Residential Penthouses offer everything from private elevator entrances to spectacular mountain views. Sophisticated amenities include the legendary J‑Bar, lauded as an Aspen institution; Michelin Guide‑recommended Prospect; the après‑ski favorite, the Living Room bar and lounge; the sultry underground speakeasy, Bad Harriet; the award‑winning Yarrow spa; state‑of‑the‑art fitness facilities; a ski concierge; and a heated outdoor pool and hot tub overlooking Aspen Mountain.

The targeted compensation wage for this full time year round, non-exempt position is $25.00-27.00/hr.

Job Description

As the host of all hosts, the Spa Supervisor is responsible for creating an exceptional guest experience by welcoming and orienting guests to the spa facilities while ensuring seamless daily operations. This role leads by example, providing outstanding customer service, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, and supporting the spa team in a fast‑paced luxury environment. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, organized, and passionate about delivering personalized guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and orient guests to the spa facilities, providing warm, professional, and personalized service throughout their visit.
  • Supervise the daily flow of spa operations by reviewing treatment schedules, coordinating guest arrivals, and ensuring efficient service delivery.
  • Support, coach, and assist spa attendants and therapists to maintain exceptional service standards and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure guest areas, treatment preparation spaces, and amenities are maintained according to spa standards and protocols.
  • Prepare professional body care products, set up dry sauna rooms, and prepare baths as needed.
  • Take beverage orders, prepare drinks, and provide poolside food and beverage service.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of relaxation areas by removing used towels, cups, and dishes and restocking supplies.
  • Coordinate linen inventory by transporting linen carts to and from the laundry facility and ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Monitor inventory of spa amenities, beverages, linens, and supplies, notifying management of replenishment needs.
  • Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues to ensure complete guest satisfaction.
  • Assist with training new team members and reinforcing spa policies, procedures, and service expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and company policies.
  • Perform opening and closing duties and assist with additional operational tasks as assigned to ensure the overall success of the spa.
Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service, personal care industry or pool service position in a luxury resort environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced outdoor environment with an outgoing team within a large department.
  • Possess excellent communication style.
  • Have a personality that constantly goes above and beyond.
