Job summary

The Restaurant Reservationist at Auberge Collection, located in the heart of Aspen, plays a vital role in the Food and Beverage team, efficiently receiving and recording guests' restaurant reservations and ensuring smooth service with a gracious touch.

You will input reservations into Open Table, maintain up-to-date menus, and support management with flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays; the position offers comprehensive benefits within a luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience in the foodservice/hospitality industry.
• Prior experience in a luxury setting preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Receive and record guests' reservations in person, by phone, and input into OpenTable.
• Assign reservations per customer requests and restaurant flow.
• Ensure menus are up to date and mark free when needed.
• Maintain menu knowledge and assist management as required.

The targeted compensation wage for this full time year round, non-exempt position is $20/hr.

Job Description

The Restaurant Reservationist is an integral part of the Food and Beverage team, ensuring a well orchestrated and seamless dining experience. The role involves efficiently receiving and recording guests' restaurant reservations while prioritizing the fulfillment of all requests and needs with a gracious touch.

• Receive and record guests' reservations whether in person, via phone and input them into Open Table ensuring AubergeCollection standards are met
• Assign reservations according to customer's request and knowledge of the restaurant and flow of business
• Ensure menus are up to date, clean & mark free
• Maintain a complete knowledge of menu and all related menu items
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one-year experience in the foodservice / hospitality industry.
• Prior experience in a luxury setting and good knowledge of food and wine is preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
