Job summary

Sunday River Resort’s Jordan Spa seeks a friendly receptionist to be the first point of contact for guests. You will handle bookings, offer service recommendations, and keep the spa running smoothly with professional decorum.

Roles include evening, weekend, and holiday shifts within full-time seasonal, part-time, or temporary contracts. Benefits include resort perks and staff housing opportunities as applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in guest service or reception preferred but not required.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency with SpaSoft, Microsoft and Social Schedules preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage spa appointments (booking, changes, charges, cancellations).
• Assist clients with booking and recommend services/products.
• Open and close the spa per procedures.
• Maintain a clean and professional work environment.
• Support service providers to ensure guest accommodation.
• Provide information about Sunday River and surrounding area.
• Upsell to spa guests and promote current promotions.
• Answer guest questions via in-person, email or phone.
• Inform guests about resort activities and events.
• Develop product knowledge to make recommendations.
• Assist in other hotel departments as directed.
