Job summary

Sunday River Resort is seeking a Spa Manager to lead the Jordan Spa team and oversee daily operations of our luxury spa facility. You will manage a team of spa professionals, ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining profitability.

This FLEX (extended seasonal) role typically runs 9-11 months per year, averaging more than 30 hours weekly. You will drive guest satisfaction, oversee staffing, and collaborate with resort teams to deliver an outstanding spa experience at Sunday River.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years leadership experience in hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Book4Time experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and consistent daily operations of the spa, ensuring all spa policies and procedures are followed and maintained to the highest standards.
• Manage the financial performance of the spa, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management
• Monitor daily business reports of NPS, revenue and labor, controlled expenses and guest satisfaction targets.
• Ensure compliance to spa operating controls, SOPs, policies and service standards.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and implement changes to the spa's services and offerings accordingly.
• Oversee recruitment, training & development of all spa team members and handle HR-related requirements.
• Coordinate with the lodging team to ensure excellent guest service and a great team member experience.
• Maintain staffing aligned with business demand; lead by example and mentor staff.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and respond to needs professionally.
• Exhibit professional attitude and handle difficult situations.
• Provide leadership and motivation through regular team meetings and clear communication.
• Update and manage spa management software.
